Dr. Schumacher will take a serious look at the 'human in the loop', to explore what usability and user experience are, and why they are important in digital health. Drawing on experience and real life examples, he will show:
- where poor usability negatively impacts patients and providers,
- how poor user experiences result in huge losses in productivity and hinders return on investment,
- the important steps that can be taken to ensure that the Health tools given to users are safe, effective, and usable.
10:25 – 10:45 Customer Experience Beyond User Interfaces
Janne M. Lohvansuu will discuss about the customer experience beyond user interfaces. Companies are focusing their efforts into a narrow field of user interfaces instead of holistic customer experience and retention. Through cases and examples he will show how to grasp the upcoming opportunities within social selling and customer lifecycle.
